This fun-loving, dedicated group of Christian women, ranging in age from 50's - 90's meet every 2 weeks to enjoy each other's company. The meetings usually consist of a short prayer service, followed by a fun activity and sometimes event planning, finished off with a tasty lunch!
The fund-raising that these ladies do in a year is astounding! Not only do they raise money to help out St. Tom's but they also donate to a large number of very worthy local (and sometimes international) charities such as Lisaard House, Monica Place, Cambridge Self Help Food Bank, Womens' Crisis Centre, The Bridges, Trinity Community Table, the Diocese of Keewatin, Council of the North and Sleeping Children Around the World.
All women are welcome to join us. You don't need to be a member of our parish. Just bring a friend and come along. (NOTE: meetings are temporarily on hold during Covid-19)
